Effective Date: May 14, 2025
Lukas Madenach (hereinafter referred to as "we," "us," or "our") operates the AIggregator Chrome Extension (hereinafter referred to as the "Service"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.
We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information.
We collect minimal information necessary to provide and improve the Service. The types of information we collect are as follows:
This information is used solely for user authentication, account management, and to enable you to use the Service.
The core functionality of AIggregator involves you selecting a local directory on your computer. The Service then reads the directory structure and the content of specified file types within that selected directory.
IMPORTANT: This data (your local directory structure and file contents) is processed ENTIRELY LOCALLY on your device by the AIggregator extension. It is NEVER uploaded, transmitted, stored, or accessed by us or any third-party servers controlled by us. The generated YAML output is for you to download or copy directly from the extension on your computer.
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
We use Google Firebase for user authentication and account management. Firebase is a service provided by Google LLC.
We recommend you review Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Other than Firebase for authentication, we do not share your personally identifiable information with other third parties, except as required by law.
Your authentication information (email, name from Google, hashed password, Firebase UID) is stored and secured by Google Firebase, which employs industry-standard security measures.
As stated above, the contents of your directories and files that you select for processing are handled locally within the extension on your computer and are not stored or transmitted by us.
You can typically manage your Firebase Authentication password through the extension's interface if you signed up with email/password. If you signed in with Google, your name and email are managed through your Google account settings.
You may request the deletion of your AIggregator account by contacting us at l29987592 at gmail.com. Upon your request, we will take steps to delete your account information (email, name if applicable, Firebase UID) from the Firebase Authentication system. Please note that locally processed directory/file data is not stored by us, so there is no such data for us to delete from our servers.
Our Service is not intended for use by children. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.
AIggregator includes a "Support AIggregator" button that links to an external page where you can make a voluntary donation (via PayPal). If you choose to donate, you will be redirected to the third-party payment processor's website. Any information you provide to them will be governed by their respective privacy policy, not this one. We do not process or store any of your financial information.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
